Safety is a top priority for Peninsula Terminal Company. We recognize that safety is an obligation to our employees, our customers, and to the general public. Peninsula Terminal Company provides training, continuing education and frequent proficiency testing of our employees to reinforce the value we place on safety in the workplace and on the rails. All of our employees are hazmat certified. We are committed to the security of your products under our control. In addition to the many steps that Peninsula Terminal Company takes to help keep high levels of safety , we are also engaged in numerous security initiatives. We  work with our inspectors for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to prevent potential security risks as well as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) to implement and audit safety guidelines. We strive to make sure that the rail industry remains at the forefront of transportation safety and security.
